Planting Out the Garden Boxes and Remembrance Day

On November 11 it is Remembrance Day. The suggestion has been made that we might like to plant out the garden boxes in the Close (the ones that Columba Nights used for a season). So we thought November 11, Remembrance Day, would be a great Day to do this. So after church and a cup of tea those who would like to join us could do a bit of planting in the boxes and enjoy a sausage sizzle while/after we work. It’ll be fun, and one of the boxes will be a Remembrance box. So put the date in the diary now! Everyone is welcome, and if you just want to come for the planting and the sausages join us at the Close (the garden) at the back of the parish centre (The Close fronts Kent Street, Hawthorn but you can access it from Rosevear Street as well.).

Coffee, Craft and Chat

Join us for our weekly Coffee, Craft and Chat group. A time to work on your craft project (whatever it is) and find fun and support as you do. Afternoon tea is provided, so join us in the Parish Centre on Wednesdays in shool term time.
