Almost Like Church

A worship service for all ages especially aimed at primary school children. But you will enjoy yourself no matter what age. We meet every first and third Sundays of the month at 9.45am in the Parish Centre. We enjoy refreshments afterwards with the traditional congregation who will finish their service in the church around the same time. For more information follow our Facebook page.

Columba Nights

Link to our Facebook page for details of our next service. Columba Nights is a simple, contemplative service for those looking for a deeper existence and are yet to find a home in contemporary examples of church, religion, belief or non-belief. Faithless or faithful, together we discuss philosophical/theological concepts, light candles, pray and engage in performative, ritual spaces. So come as you are, whoever you are and hopefully find some solace and encouragement amidst the chaos of modern life. We gather each Sunday at 7PM at St Columba’s Anglican Church, Hawthorn. The service consists of short reflections and sharing, liturgy, candles, meditation and engagement of all our senses, to remind us of the sacredness of the physical world and the importance of community. Afterwards we fortify ourselves with coffee, wine and conversation 🙂
